The SafePath SSS-3 mounts
directly to the top of the door to provide
safety protection for pedestrians while
the door is moving. On swing doors, while
the door is opening, the SSS-3 will sense
and protect a person in its path and either
slow or stop the door. When the door is
closing, the SSS-3 will sense a person
in its path and reopen the door.
The SSS-3 combines the
most reliable active infrared technology
available with Position Sensitive Detection
(PSD) technology found in auto focus cameras
to ensure precise detection that is easy
to set up in any application.
The SSS-3 mounts on either
side or both sides of the door depending
upon the application. They can be used
stand alone or in conjunction with other
sensors for complete door safety.
