Job Description: Engineering Technician

MS SEDCO is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Engineering Technician at its Indianapolis, IN facility. The ideal candidate should have a BSEET degree with 5 years experience in analog & digital circuitry. Experience in radio frequency, microwave or infrared technologies is a plus.

Candidate must be familiar with test equipment, testing and quality control procedures in a production environment. A good “trouble shooter” with the ability to qualify second source components is required. Knowledge of agency approvals such as UL, FCC, IC and CE is desired. Candidate must also be comfortable taking technical service calls from customers and be capable of interacting with multiple departments in a cooperative and professional manner.

Job Description: Production Assembler & Quality Control Tester

MS SEDCO is seeking an individual to fill the position of Quality Control Tester & Production Assembler at its Indianapolis, IN facility. This position will require the candidate to float among several different tasks on a daily basis fabricating, assembling and troubleshooting electronic and mechanical products. Candidate should be a motivated, organized, self starter that is comfortable with changing job responsibilities on a daily basis.

Responsibilities include small electronic to metal housing assembly, simple fabrication, soldering electronic components, measuring with oscilloscopes and voltmeters, quality control testing of products, packaging and organizing of products and prepping orders for shipment. The ideal candidate should possess the ability to take written and oral instructions and then organize those instructions and complete them with minimal supervision. A willingness to learn basic computer and order entry tasks are a plus, but not required.
